Description
Decided to do some macro shots of lilies that were given to me by a good friend. I wanted to give these wonderful blooms something like an ethereal glow, so I tried lighting them with a high power flashlight from multiple angles...

I enjoy this one better than the one that follows it because there's a bit more detail here.... Then, I am looking at it from a phone. 
I have always loved photos of flowers because of the details you miss otherwise. So many love the look of flowers, will even stop to smell them... But miss the glory contained by the groupings of pollen on the stamen, the color variations deeper within the blossom, or the semi translucent properties of the petals. You've accented these wonderfully in these photos! The flowers are beautiful!
