Hey all!

Just decided to replace my journal that I had been using with this one by
I thought it looked neato and they were kind enough to allow download of it...

It's snowing like mad here (okay, not right now, but earlier) and for only the second time in the history of my almost 8 year DJ gig I had to cancel... Pretty bummed about that, as I was looking forward to spinning some great tunes and hanging with my friends...

Thankfully a few of them came over tonight and I got to hang with them anyway...

My D300 is awesome, though it's a whole new ballgame on settings and general feel... I had used my D70 for so long it was second nature, now I'm having to re-learn a bit to get good shots with the new one. I desperately want it to warm up, as it really limits my picture taking ability having just my house and whatever building that will allow me to shoot there aas my only options...

I'm playing a little game on Facebook that was fun for a bit, called Knighthood. Problem is, there are certain buildings that you can build (in this case the barracks) that trigger who can go after you in the game... I found this out AFTER building said building up several levels... Now I'm getting attacked constantly and all my knights and ladies are being seized by people who are 2 to 3 times more powerful than I am, which gives me next to no hope of trying to "rescue" them... Enter frustration... Poop... Sooo, I'm hanging on, just because I'm stubborn, but I'm awaiting being conquered because I made a dumb mistake...
