I thought I'd check in with my DA friends...

My last journal was when I had just gotten my iPad, and my computer had blown up...
Well, got a new desktop for my editing (for a while now, which is why I've been posting like a madman) that I like a lot. Running a quad core with Win 7 on it. Admittedly it isn't that much more than the one I replaced, but it'd worked well for me.
My iPad is still going strong. It's pretty much with me wherever I am, so I'm definitely getting use out of it. Now, I know there's people out there that might roll their eyes and say "great, he's a fanboy". I understand where you're coming from, as my day job fixing computers exposes me to the extremes of the spectrum for pc and mac lovers. Let's just say I could live without it, but I'm glad I got it...

Been trying to use up the last days of summer as much as possible. With the temp dropping and more rain coming in daily, I'm gleening out the last of the year's outdoor nudes, unless I have a model who willing to endure running through snow in their birthday suit...

It's cool though, switching gears to ramp up more Noir and Horror themed stuff, and theirs always portraiture to do... I still want to get out and do some more Post-Apocalypse themed work, and the dropping temp helps with that as there's nothing more miserable than a model in 100 degree heat with 40 pounds of leather and chains on...
Got a new car... My old one was running on it's last leg and I had to bite the bullet and try to finance a replacement. Thankfully I found a dealership that was able to get me a loan and now I'm running around in a '06 Chevy HHR. Though I have another payment it does have a hell of a lot better gas mileage, so I'm saving a bit filling it up. You can see it as a background for Phil's latest Noir shots I did with him...

Running up on my one year anniversary being married...

We're still together, still happy, and still ready to kill each other...

I owe a lot to my wife, she is my rock and my compass. Here's to another year, ten, twenty, and beyond!

Signing off for now, as always dear readers, thank you so much for yo0ur comments, views and faves. It means so much to me to be able to show you my work, share with you my ideas, and lend you an ear when needed... Goodnight.
